The
Glasshouse on the Ganges, like the other Neemrana
'non-hotel' Hotels, honours both an extraordinary
historical site as well as a magical natural
spot. Set in a lychees and mango orchard of
The Maharaja of Tehri Garhwal, with a garden
of tropical plants, full of rare birds and
butterflies, it has a sand beach of its own.
This secluded property has six cottages overlooking
the Ganges and the mountains beyond. Its private
spring
water matches the qualities of the best mineral
waters in the world, which you can bathe in!
The Glasshouse offers leisure, reading, log
fires and even a barbecue near the banks of
the river.

AND SIGHT SEEING:
The
Glasshouse is located 23 kms. above Rishikesh
on the route to Badrinath
ACTIVITIES:
You sunbathe, jungle
walk, river raft and can fish with a permit.
Water skiing in Dak Pathar near Dehradun and
winter sports in Auli are recommended. Or
you can visit the neighbouring temples and
ashrams for evening arti.

MEALS:
- Bed tea and evening
tea are included in the room rent.
- Fixed menus are offered
at the per head rates of Rs. 150/- for breakfast,
Rs. 200/- for lunch, Rs. 250/- dinner.
- No charge for children
below 4 years and half rates for children below
10 years.
- Breakfast is served
from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., lunch from 12:30 to 2:30
p.m. and dinner from 8 to 10 p.m. Meals are served
in the open or in the dining halls.
SERVICES AND FACILITIES:
- 24 hours running hot
and cold water.
- Spring water purified
and filtered for drinking.
- Doctor/post office/market
at Rishikesh.
- Sight seeing to Rishikesh
can be arranged on prior notice.
- Camping/water sports
and jungle walks can be arranged on a tailor made
itinerary (to be booked, well in advance, from
Delhi).
- The entire property
can be chartered at a weekday discount of 10%.

and India's holy rivers. Room tariff is
payable in advance (at least 20 days) to
confirm bookings, failing which the booking
gets automatically released.

if space permits.
- Check-in time
is 2 p.m. Check-out time is 12 noon.
- The entire property
can be chartered on a discount of 10%
